It’s been quite some time since I’ve actually started up a challenge and stuck with it. Perhaps I really needed to do something unique, and that at last I’ve found it. Welcome to the Tidus Solo, Expert Sphere Grid, No Customize, Random Paths challenge!
When we last left off I had just received my Fire job, the Geomancer. Now, as someone who is fairly inexperienced at Final Fantasy V, I thought this was going to add another layer of challenge to the Four Job Fiesta for me.
I covered what Frog% is in a previous post, so I won’t go over it again here. Oh boy. I’ve been pretty lucky in past fiestas as I’ve gotten strong starting classes. Last year, I got Black Mage, and this year I got White Mage.
I’m not going to talk about what the fiesta is, because you can find out everything you need to know about it elsewhere, so I am going to operate under the assumption that you know everything you need to, and that you’ve played Final Fantasy V before. (There will be SPOILERS!)
It’s the time of year again! The Final Fantasy V Four Job Fiesta is underway, and despite telling myself several times that I wouldn’t start it til I finished another challenge… I did. Perhaps it was the hype from others on Twitter that got me to cave on it.
Boy oh boy did disc 3 ever take a bit. It wasn’t even due in part to hitting a roadblock – that lovely thing called real life interrupted. At points, disc 3 met my expectations of difficulty. At other points, though, it somewhat let me down.
